All supplies are included EXCEPT for one blank white tee shirt that parents must supply for the July 8th Printmaking class. Aprons are available to all students but because we often utilize various materials, we recommend that students wear clothes that can get messy.

July 6th: Design Your Own Art Gallery
Become both architect and curator by constructing a miniature art gallery out of cardboard, foils, and craft materials. Students will fill their custom-built space with tiny, original paintings and sculptures to complete their exhibition.

July 7th: Caricature Design & Keychains
Bring your own caricatures to life by giving them unique personalities, and funny facial expressions! Using paints, markers, and various materials to build each creation from scratch. Once your favourite caricature is ready, we'll draw them onto shrinky-dink film pop them in the toaster oven and turn it into a custom, durable keychain to take home.

July 8th: Stamp Art & DIY Fabric Printing
Ditch the traditional paintbrush and experiment with unusual tools like vegetables, sticks, wool, and other household items to apply paint! You will explore how to create cool textures and patterns using everyday objects. After testing out your designs, you’ll use everything you learned to print a custom, one-of-a-kind masterpiece onto a t-shirt! **parents must pack one blank white tee shirt, used or new that we'll use to print on for the final project

July 9th: Abstract Bird Feeders
Mix art with a purpose by building your very own working bird feeder! You will use bright colours and cool geometric shapes to turn everyday materials into a 3D sculpture. To make it even more fun, you'll design your feeder with a "whimsical" stylized face to give it some extra personality for the birds in your backyard.

July 10th: Furniture Design
Take your ideas off the page and turn them into 3D objects! You will act as an industrial designer to build miniature furniture like tables, chairs, and other room decor. Using wire, cardboard, and foil, you’ll learn how to engineer small-scale structures that are both creative and sturdy.
