Kids Morning Arts & Crafts (ages 8-12) Mondays in August

**There is space for a maximum of 5 kids per session

Ages: 8-12 years old
Dates: August 4, 10, 17 and 24th
Time: 10:30am-11:30pm

Cost: $26 +hst

An intake form will be emailed to you before classes begin. If you do not receive it, please reach out to us as it must be filled out for every child before the first class.

All supplies are included. Aprons are available to all students but because we often utilize various materials, we recommend that students wear clothes that can get messy.

August 3rd: Sun Catchers
The kids will create window magic by mixing colourful tissue paper, markers, and beads to customize their own suncatcher.

August 10th: Embroidered Notebooks
In this creative textile workshop, participants will learn basic embroidery stitches to personalize the cover of their own notebook. Working with either a custom design or a pre-printed image, they will transform a simple journal into a unique, hand-stitched notebook.

August 17th: Shrinky-Dink Keychains and Bag Charms
This workshop explores the creative process of Shrinky-Dinks, using specialized film sheets that shrink and harden when baked. Participants will design, colour, and cut their own unique illustrations before baking them into durable, keychains and charms for their bags.

August 24th: Printmaking
Kids will discover the magic of printmaking by using pencils to etch unique designs into special styrofoam plates. After rolling on vibrant acrylic paint, they will learn the step-by-step process of transferring their custom artwork onto paper to create beautiful, repeatable prints.
