Air-Dry Clay Cute Mini Room: 2-Part Workshop June 17 & 24th

The Confederation Court Mall doors are locked at 6pm, students must enter the mall through the Holman Grand Hotel Lobby. And then past the large white doors into the mall, around the escalators.

Shrink your favourite cozy space down to size in this two-session workshop! You’ll use air-dry clay to build an adorable, three-dimensional mini room designed to hang on your wall, moving from raw sculpture to a bright, finished piece of art.

Session 1: Sculpting the Scene The first session is all about building your tiny world. Using air-dry clay, you will sculpt cute structural elements like miniature furniture, shelving, and tiny accessories. We’ll focus on hand-building techniques to create charming, 3D shapes that give your room a sweet and whimsical look.

Session 2: Painting & Pretty Details
Once your clay has dried, it’s time to add colour! In the second session, you’ll use acrylic paints to make your room pop. We will explore ways to add cute patterns—like tiny polka dots, wood grain, or floral rugs—and use fine brushes to add the finishing touches that make your miniature space feel extra special.

You’ll head home with a unique piece of 3D wall art and the skills to keep creating your own tiny, cute environments.
