Open Call Bare Public Art Exhibition
Blank Canvas Art Supplies invites artists to wade into the depths of the human experience for our upcoming free public exhibition, “Bare”. We seek artwork that explores the multifaceted nature of identity, emotions and the complexities of the human condition.
This exhibition is a safe space for artists and viewers to connect on a deeper level to gain a better understanding of the people in their community, of their obstacles and struggles but also of their victories and hopes for the future.

PaperWorks, a 26-piece art show featuring works by PEI artist Deb Murphy, will be on view at Blank Canvas Art Supplies from May 14–27.
Murphy will present pieces ranging from 4×4” self-contained boxes to 24×36” wall art—all constructed using highly textured and colourful papers. The artist tears, shapes and combines multiple layers of paper to create rich art. Using a binding medium and protective coating, Murphy seals and showcases her unique and innovative creations. All are ready for hanging.
