Cost: $140 for 4 classes OR $35 per class (+ HST)

August 5: Air Dry Clay - Sculpting
We'll explore various sculpting techniques, from additive to subtractive methods, to create unique forms and expressive sculptures. Experiment with texture, volume, and personal narrative in your work.

August 6: Andy Warhol Prints
Delve into the influential world of Pop Art and the iconic imagery of Andy Warhol. We'll explore his techniques of repetition, bold colour, and appropriation to create our own striking prints using accessible methods. Consider themes of consumerism, celebrity, and mass media in your designs.

August 7: Air Dry Clay - Painting
Bring your air-dry clay creations to life with colour and detail! We'll explore different painting techniques suitable for clay, focusing on layering, blending, and adding surface embellishments to enhance the form and express your artistic vision.

August 8: Needle Felting
Using specialized barbed needles and wool fibers, we'll learn how to sculpt and shape three-dimensional forms or create textured surfaces. This tactile medium offers a unique way to explore form, colour, and detail in a fiber-based art form.

We inspire our students with the art of the masters and empower them to find their own artistic voice to let the creative process lead them to their own unique breakthroughs.
