Cost: $140 for 4 classes OR $35 per class (+ HST)

Learn something new with each 2-hour session! Join us in the workshop for a unique set of creative classes.

July 8: Silhouette Art
Explore the power of negative space and dramatic form through silhouette art. We'll experiment with various techniques to create striking images defined by their outlines, focusing on composition and storytelling through shadow and light.

July 9: Kandinsky Circle Painting
Dive into the abstract world of Wassily Kandinsky and his exploration of colour and form. We'll analyze his theories and create our own dynamic compositions using circles and colour relationships to evoke emotion and movement on the canvas.

July 10: Lino Printmaking
Discover the satisfying art of relief printmaking using linoleum blocks. We'll learn the basics of carving, inking, and printing to create unique, repeatable designs. Experiment with line, texture, and image transfer to produce your own edition prints.

July 11: Pointillism Still Life
Learn the meticulous technique of Pointillism, popularized by artists like Seurat. We'll set up a still life and learn how to build form, colour mixing, and luminosity through the application of small, distinct dots of colour.


We inspire our students with the art of the masters and empower them to find their own artistic voice to let the creative process lead them to their own unique breakthroughs.
