BCAS Kids Art Club July 8-11th 10am-12pm (5-8 years) WEEK 1

Dates: July 8, 9, 10 & 11th, 2025 (Tuesday-Friday)
Time: 10am-12pm 
Location: 125 Great George Street @ Blank Canvas Art Supplies
Cost: $140 for 4 classes OR $35 per class (+ HST)
All supplies are included.

Learn something new in each 2-hour session! Join us in the workshop for a unique set of creative classes. Kids should be dressed appropriately in clothing that can get a little messy. Please make sure there are no open toe shoes, sneakers only.

July 8: Shadow Art
Let's make cool pictures using shadows! We'll learn how to make dark shapes of things we like, called silhouettes. Using paper and paint to create fun shapes and interesting images.

July 9: Kandinsky Circle Paintings
Get ready to paint with lots of fun circles! We'll look at the art of someone named Kandinsky who loved using colourful circles in his paintings.

July 10: Stamp Printmaking
Let's make our own stamps to print with! We'll use different things to make our own special stamps, and then use paint to make lots of cool designs on paper.

July 11: Pointillism Still Life (dots)
We'll learn how to use lots and lots of little dots of colour to make a picture. We'll look at some fun things and then use our dots to paint them.

We help inspire our students with the art of the masters and empower them to find their own artistic voice. This method allows the creative process to lead them to their own unique breakthroughs.
