BCAS Kids Art Club July 29-Aug 1st 10am-12pm (5-8 years) WEEK 4

Ages: 5-8
Dates: July 29, 30, 31 & August 1st, 2025 (Tuesday-Friday)
Time: 10am-12pm (2 hours)
Location: 125 Great George Street @ Blank Canvas Art Supplies
Cost: $140 for 4 classes OR $35 per class (+ HST)
All supplies are included.

Learn something new with each 2-hour session! Join us in the workshop for a unique set of creative classes. Kids should be dressed appropriately in clothing that can get a little messy. Please make sure there are no open toe shoes, sneakers only.

July 29: Colour Wheel Still Life
We'll learn about the main colours and how to mix them to make even more colours. Then, we'll look at some fun things we put together and try to draw and colour them using all the colours we know!
July 30: Lines & Patterns
Get ready to play with all sorts of lines! We'll draw thick lines, thin lines, wiggly lines, and zigzag lines! Then, we'll see how we can put them together to make super cool patterns that look really interesting!
July 31: Mondrian Paper Collage
We'll learn about an artist named Mondrian who made really cool art with straight lines and bright colours. Using bright colours of paper we'll piece together our own fun pictures.
August 1: Shrinky Dink Window Charms
We'll draw and colour our own special designs on clear plastic sheets. Then, we'll watch as they magically get smaller and turn into super cool charms that you can hang on your windows!

We help inspire our students with the art of the masters and empower them to find their own artistic voice. This method allows the creative process to lead them to their own unique breakthroughs.
