BCAS Kids Art Club July 22-25th 10am-12pm (5-8 years) WEEK 3

Dates: July 22, 23, 24 & 25th, 2025 (Tuesday-Friday)
Time: 10am-12pm (2 hours)
Location: 125 Great George Street @ Blank Canvas Art Supplies
Cost: $140 for 4 classes OR $35 per class (+ HST)
All supplies are included.

Learn something new with each 2-hour session! Join us in the workshop for a unique set of creative classes. Kids should be dressed appropriately in clothing that can get a little messy. Please make sure there are no open toe shoes, sneakers only.

July 22: Complimentary Colours
Let's learn about colours that are best friends and look super cool together! These are called complementary colours. We'll do fun activities to see how these colours make each other pop and then create our own colourful artwork using these special pairs!
July 23: Recycled Paper Collage
Time to get crafty with paper we don't need anymore! We'll tear it, cut it, and glue it to make amazing collage pictures! Let's see what cool scenes and designs we can create using recycled paper!
July 24: Van Gogh Inspired Art
Let's learn about Vincent van Gogh, an artist who loved to paint with lots of swirls and interesting textures! Today, we're going to try a fun way to paint like him – using different tools.
July 25: Cardboard Safari
Get ready to build some wild animals! Using cardboard, paint and Makedo tools we'll create standup animals and colourful plants.

We help inspire our students with the art of the masters and empower them to find their own artistic voice. This method allows the creative process to lead them to their own unique breakthroughs.
