BCAS Kids Art Club July 15-18th 10am-12pm (5-8 years) WEEK 2

Dates: July 15, 16, 17 & 18th, 2025 (Tuesday-Friday)
Time: 10am-12pm 
Location: 125 Great George Street @ Blank Canvas Art Supplies
Cost: $140 for 4 classes OR $35 per class (+ HST)
All supplies are included.

Learn something new with each 2-hour session! Join us in the workshop for a unique set of creative classes. Kids should be dressed appropriately in clothing that can get a little messy. Please make sure there are no open toe shoes, sneakers only.

July 15: Picasso Self Portraits Collage
Let's make funny and super cool pictures of ourselves, just like the famous artist Pablo Picasso! We'll see how he drew faces in fun and interesting ways, and then we'll use different papers and things to glue together our own special silly face picture.

July 16: Mixed Media Wall Hanging
Time to get crafty with lots of fun stuff! We'll use different things that feel and look different, like yarn and beads, to make our own special things to hang on the wall!

July 17: Watercolour Resist Doodles
We're going to draw cool pictures with special crayons, and then we'll paint over them with watercolours.

July 18: Monet Inspired Art with Oil Pastels
Let's learn about a famous artist named Claude Monet who made soft and dreamy paintings! We'll use colourful, soft crayons called oil pastels to make our own beautiful pictures.

We help inspire our students with the art of the masters and empower them to find their own artistic voice. This method allows the creative process to lead them to their own unique breakthroughs.
